Intake manifold
Hello. I'm new here and this is my first post. I've done a lot of research already and extracted a lot of vital information for an N/A build F20c. Well aside from my little introduction, but I've seen this http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/magnus-...00-p-45531.html for the longest time since the beginning of last year. It was $800 before now the price went up an extra $90. I'm guessing that people have bought this and made great gains that they just had to bump up the price for that reason. Is this the Magnus IM that you guys are talking about? The website's Magnus IM works for N/A and FI.
Just by looking at the build of this IM, looks like the 4th piston wall is crunched down compared to the opening where the throttle body would sit. And not to mention, it has velocity stacks which are commonly used on ITB's to allow maximum flow of air to the heads. I'm a fan of ITB's but not the idea of how some small little rock that can get sucked into it. Plus they have to be tuned precisely which I hear could take weeks, months, and even year/s. This is why I like the Magnus IM. It has velocity stacks and I like the idea of how the 4th piston's airway gets tighter. Meaning this could very well be the answer to people who are going the route of N/A build.
