Default Intercooler options for 700-800whp

I'm currently running a godspeed s2k IC. Im changing my setup and will be maxing a 3582r and aiming for the 700 range. Funds are starting to get a bit tight towards the end of this. I know cxracing offers a IC with a 4" core. Would this be my best bet?

With that kind of power I would highly suggest you get a quality Garrett or prescision or a bell inter cooker core and stay away from cheep Chinese eBay intercollers.

At your power level I would recommend the garrett 24x12x3.5 core. Or if you want to save some money you can go with the precision 750hp intercooler.

Would a refrigeration system using the A/C actually fit your objectives better? It would leverage an air-to-water intercooler like the ones made by CX Racing.

https://www.cxracing.com/liquid-to-air-intercooler-pump/liquid-to-air-intercooler-pump-water-to-air-intercooler?sort=p.price&order=DESC&limit=100

Note that FI Interchillers recommends using the interchiller with a reservoir without a heat exchanger (effectively leveraging the A/C condenser) for many applications including street driving and 1/'4, 1/2, and 1 mile drag racing. CX Racing also sells ice boxes to go with their intercoolers. FI shows installations on an MR2 and FT86.

This similar to what a Dodge Challenger Demon has.
