Default Intercooler size I should run?

How big of a intercooler should I run. Goals is 500whp running E85. Full race manifold, borg warner S258, and I was thinking going 3" piping, but I have read and been told that it might be too big and will cause. So 2.5" is what I am looking at using now. Also has anyone measured the room behind the bumper. Whats the largest that can fit back there without cutting the front bumper support. Thanks.

Largest I have seen is from FullRace or AFI, both are very nice units rather than the off the shelf Precisions most others use (Though they do have a VERY nice core).

Yes but they do not fit between the rails, the core is about 6-8" too long and could be a bit taller also.

135.00 for the 600hp intercooler. Fits under the bumper rails too. Can't beat that price from a reputable dealer.

The precision600 fits without any modifications to your car or bumper/grill area. Hell I'm running the precision750. stock grill and unmodified oem bumper with no issues.

If your shopping turbo parts based on price.. buy another car.
