Default issues with RC 1000cc install

I used to have the rc 750cc and the install and fitting was great. So my first question is, the RC injectors universal?

how is the bottom ring is supposed to go?

If this O-ring goes like the injector is the right. the top bolts will not clear.

If the O-ring is suppose to go like the injector in the left. the injector will not go all away in.

whats wrong with this?

When I switched from 650 to 880 cc Inlinepro injectors, I had the same issue. The 880s are a bit fatter and the oring was troublesome to slide onto the injector. But I did manage to get it to where its supposed to be. i filled the extra space with the thin orings so the manifold oring wouldnt pop out as it's a bit under pressure now. So far so good.

you can do a few things. either bore out the grommets or get rc to send you the two thinner o-rings, or find some universal o-rings that will fit the diameter of the injector correctly.

Use universal O rings from home depot.

There is a DIY on here somewhere.

I remember there was a thread saying that if you take out the little blue plastic piece from the stock clips then you can use them for the RC injectors.

Has this been confirmed by anyone or is it a bad idea?

thanks.
