Default I've tried everything

Ok guys, i've tried everything and it doesn't work. Fully installed turbo kit with 2mm hg and AEM. The car idles but makes a ticking noise comming from the TCT area.

So far I've:
1. Replaced the TCT TWICE
2. Changed the chain
3. Changed the chain guides
4. Aligned the chain 3x
5. Clocked the gear
6. Adjusted the valves to spec
7. Yes I have the cams aligned too
8. Checked the bearings
9. Chekcked the cylinder walls and they are perfect
10. Had 3 different honda mechanics attempt to make the noise stop.
11. Yes i have a resistor box running rc1000's

What am i missing?

One of the pins from the rocker assembly is missing after having cams out?

Valve adjust was done wrong (meaning instead of roatating clockwise to do the valve adjust you went counterclockwise) and 2-3 are not adjusted properly?

Just trying to help.

hmm.. the valve adjustment was definetly done right.. because the noise is comming from the front of the engine.. not the side, top or bottom.

i guess that would also eliminate the rocker assembly being incorrectly installed

no idea what a blown LMA is.. i gotta search it tonight..

and it's definetly NOT the fan relays..

Sigh.. i mean i could try to replace the pulley bearing.. i heard that might be an issue.. even Jeff at Hard Top Guy said that it maybe the pulley bearing.. but why would that cause the timing chain/ TCT area to tick?

I mean, it made slightly less noise after i replaced the tensioner, chain, and chain guides. I hate to just keep ordering parts and trying shit.. arg..

btw, i used an engine stethoscope to locate teh source of the noise. it seems to be directly from the chain tensioner area.. not from the valve train.

Where are you located? see if i have a contact in that area that can help. Wish you were close, id come by and take a look. If your THAT concerned about it, pick up a valve cover from a junkyard, cut the front section off, and put it back on. now youll have a window so you can see down into the chain area as it runs. since its at idle, the chain wont fling very much oil at all, and youll be able to look down in there with it running.
Sounds like you have chain stack, but that only happens when the TCT is bad. very odd. have you checked your oil pressure while running? You may have low oil pressure, at which point the tct wont be able to pump up all the way, even when new. (just a thought).
I REALLY want to hear this noise. anyone have a good solid, say, nextel speaker phone, that you know. call me and hold the phone by the sound. and at varying locations in front of the car.
Id love to help. sucks your going through hell.
later dave
