I have thought of it, alot. Problem is the cost. 400 for the upgrade, new pulley and belt will be 110-120, plus tuning 300ish. I am kind of waiting or 928 to figure things out with their impeller upgrade before I jump the gun on the 1200 impeller.
yeah i seen that topic about the 1500 internals not seating properly in the blower. sucks... the 1200 with a 3.2in pulley puts out about 18.5 psi, probably breaking the 450 mark with that much boost on a 1200. Pretty convincing to me lol

Well, if I did do a 928 or 1200 impeller upgrade, I would build it to run 14 psi max. Yes, I am running the un-painted SOS front heat exchanger

Great gains, i was waiting for Mase to return so i could get a tune. Well on my way home from dinner, i started the car and didn't hear the charger. So i looked and seen that the belt wasn't spinning. My dam arbor and tensioner snaped. Perhaps i had it too tight. Well, gotta order a new one. But anyways good numbers tho.

Pic request. Im thinking the other part of the bolt is in the arbor still. It sucks cause i was waiting till Mase returned to try to see what the PLM header would make with my setup. But o well, i guess ill be hitting Vortech up monday.
