Many thanks to Reborn 56, TimG, FPerra, Soul Coughing, PeanutButter for helping me get to my goals on this car. I put the car on the rollers after it ran 123 MPH down the 1/4 mile and it showed 400 to the wheels. Did a little air/fuel tuning (leaned from 10.7:1 up to 11.25:1) with my trusty Innovate wideband O2 and she's at 421 RWHP @ 9200 RPM with an instantly spooling GT3076R's early torque peak of 285 ft lbs @ 5100 RPM.

Scan below is still with a very conservative tune (16 PSI, 17.1 degrees of timing) and a bone-stock sounding 3" lightweight (20 lb) exhaust, and there's still some work to keep the boost all the way out to 9200 RPM. I may sneak up on 430 when it's all done, which is fine. Everything that could be safety-wired, coated, shielded, V-banded, double-braced and otherwise bozoproofed is. Car has no vibes / resonances and if you didn't take it over 2500 you'd never know the difference. But the boost party is underway by 3000, and as you can tell by the dyno sheet below (which has a stock AP1 S2000 in blue for context), it's a whole lot of fun from 2800 up.

Pics of the build are in my sig; some of the portwork pics are nearly erotic to some.

Huge credit to the guys who helped me get it together (and "where to get" list for those of you who are wondering where to get parts for a similar build):

Mike Laskey - Benson-sleeved short block (9.0:1 CP forged pistons, Pauter rods, knife-edged F20C crank) and Stage 3 ported head

John & Dan at JC AutoSpec - removed the original motor and re-installed when we got it back from Laskey in 11/07. No leaks, not a scratch on the engine bay.

Javier at Full-race - set me up with their coated manifold, V-band setup downpipe, injectors, pump, etc.

Mike at Precision - perfect Prec600 intercooler fitment

Michael at Specialized Performance Coatings - coated the downpipe and V-band clamp

ATP Turbo and Treadstone Performance - more fittings, couplings, mandrel bends, etc. than you can imagine

Summit Racing - AEM injector driver for 1000cc injectors, muffler, fittings, etc.

Vibrant Technologies - 3" straight through factory-style resonator for under passenger seat -- great reduction in drone along with 3" helmholtz resonator

Don at Meineke in Austin - Assembly of the mandrel bends

Thanks for the kind words. It's a really fun car to drive. Very glad I went forced induction, and took the extra steps along the way to get things reliable.

congrats on the numbers! Marcus was telling me about sending you the map! Evan's tunes are very smooth! Did you setup boost compensation, or tune cell to cell?

if you could send me your map, i'd love to see the differences iin your timing map!

Again, congrats!

Awesome. Your 3" exhaust is fairly quiet then? Details?

Now that is a nice graph. Congrats. Any links for a cost break down on the engine build.

Fellas! Thank you. Yes, she's running smooth and Evans's maps rock. If Marcus is cool with me sharing a revised map (since I borrowed it from him when I was validating timing) for 2.0L / 1000cc, PM me with your address. The fuel and timing maps are different, but I've done some adapting & am pretty happy with the results. Shift light's been moved to 9000 and it has O2 feedback enabled along with a pretty good boost duty cycle / RPM+TPS map for boost level management with the GM solenoid.

Again, thanks for all the help. You guys have the truly impressive numbers and access to amazing tuners up there. Way to go...
