Default Just finished Vortech install

Well I just finished installing my Vortech supercharger kit and the car will not start. I'm thinking it's the electrical work (I used wire crimps instead of soldering), but before I go take my seat out and lay on my back for an hour soldering them all together, do you have any ideas of anything else it could be?

Does it turn over? Can you hear the fuel pump prime? You'll most like end up soldering the connections. Also do not follow the black box wiring diagram as it's wrong. Follow the written directions.

I followed the diagram, not the written. It turns over, and I'm not sure if I hear the fuel pump, but the fuel pump install was pretty simple so I doubt it's that. I'll go redo everything according to the written instructions, thanks.

Hmmmmm.... I went and compared the written instructions and the diagram and could not find any differences. I did undo all the connections and start over following the written instructions soldering in some spots, using quick connects in others. Still no dice. I pulled out a spark plug and put it in the coil and turned it over holding the tip with my finger and watching closeley, and I didn't get zapped or see any spark.

Any other ideas?

ok do this, unplug map clamp and timing box and then try starting it, as long as you dont hit boost you are fine, just start it up. if you feel uncomfortable doing this then just go ahead and take the aftercooler off then try starting it, this will narrow down if it is electrical or mechanincal

I didn't solder mine and it started right up. Most likely electrical.

Well I rewired it back to stock form and it started right up. Drove it home (down the street) from my neighbors HEATED shop. I'll go rewire everything AGAIN and see if I can get some results. If not do you think it's the black box? The kit was used and they both worked for the previous owner.
