Currently waiting for the 6.75 crank pulley to arrive. Parts received for phase 3 are Walbro 450 e85 pump, SOS flex fuel kit, ID1700cc injectors, and SOS pump rewire kit. Next on the to do list are install of all parts, tune, larger intake manifold, and possible future Novi 1200 re-fresh if needed and exhaust cut-out.

If you want to have fun and do the community a service. Do a dyno run without and then one with and report the drop in IAT and power differences. There was just a current thread about people wondering what the possible benefits are with running water/meth injection with E85.

I would have stuck with 1300's as well. As long as you have enough pump, they'll support the power you're lookin at without issue... Even with a parasitic loss boost device. Additionally, you can always bump the pressure within reason.

Reason for the 1700s over the 1300 is most cost, they're close in price. Got the larger one as the s2000 isn't my daily and I wouldn't want to have to upgrade later if I change my setup

Yep, I'm aware for the costs as I've gone through a bunch of these injectors. I also find that most people really need more fuel supply (vs the opposite) and that the smaller injector will play nicer with idle and such. Just my recommendation, nothing more.

Sacrificing good idle and partial throttle tune for the sake of added headroom is a big compromise I wouldn't be willing to take. I would not be surprised if some engine life over the long term was shorted by some fuel washing etc from incomplete combustion/general poor running. Id really make sure you absolutely need the larger injectors to support the power you know you will be making if you are at that threshold where the injector cc takes that leap in compromise. You would be so much better off running high injector pressures, something ID injectors do very well. So be sure and factor that in the hp calculation to cc.
