hey guys..
i had Vortech sc with K-pro.
and the K-pro install right at the moment of the 15% oil life light comes on..
so right now, no matter how many time i try to reset it, but it just keep coming back on ,everytime i restart the car i see the wrench and oil life lights, it's so anoying.

any one knows what can i do?

only made 10 psi..
i need a better header or something more for the car, because there is back pressure into the motor.. i am not too sure about it.

1000cc
k-pro dual ecu for DBW
T1R v3 70 mm tp and exhaust.
walbro fuel pump
everything els stock.

 

IIRC the oil dummy light is mechanical not ECU driven. Have you checked the stock oil pressure sender? Sounds like it's loose or broken.

 

Can you reset the maintenance minder so it's back to 100%? Mine was at 40% when I installed my K-Pro and it's stayed there ever since.

 

The oil dummy (pressure) light doesn't sound like the light he is talking about....

 

No, he's talking about the maintenance minder light. It's only on 06+.

Apparently with the K-Pro dual ecu the stock ecu no longer gets (or sends?) the signal that changes the "Remaining Oil Life %" display.

Hopefully, for Leo's case, it can still be reset to 100%.
