Default Kings Performance Air Duct

Since the weather is getting warmer and the summer is going to be in full swing soon, I need a way to keep my coolant temps down while having the AC on while sitting in traffic. I would like to get some opinions on here from people who are FI and who have actually used this air duct (before I purchase this duct and cut my bumper). Did it help in keeping your coolant temps down?

Here is the link to the air duct:

Thanks

**Placeholder for future review** I've only driven the car in cold weather (since installing the duct). I'll relay my review/any tangible data when I get my car back on the road.

oh wtf! Now I'm gonna look like everyone else FML!

In all seriousness, this isn't going to do shit for you sitting still.

I also haven't been able to log/compare to my temps from last year, but do not expect to see any improvement while sitting in traffic

i doubt the duct will help engine bay temps or engine temp since the duct is designed for when ur moving. heat moves upward so unless u have a vented hood i wouldnt expect much from it

Yours is probably more beneficial than most (due to the placement of your turbo)

Unless it's super windy, its not going to help sitting in traffic .

However cool air will naturally be sucked into your engine bay so it MAY help.

The vent with a cut hood, or hood risers, or reverse scoop would help the most

I'm hoping!

IAT's were my main focus when making that purchase, we shall see how well it does as it begins to warm up around here

I never really liked those things, but they have grown on me a bit, lol.

I'd actually consider one.
