S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

Is this kit legit?

we did an ebay tubo kit on an eclipse once. its still running good. you do end up spending alot in the end. i had to weld all the eintercooler pipes together, make the down pipe and intake and such you also need management for it to run correctly. so all in all it cost the guy a bit over 3 grand for us to do everything, labor and parts which only ends up to be a little cheaper than a turbo kit with brand name parts.

look at the intercooler piping its just a bunch of random pipes. Unless you have a tig welder dont expect the install to be easy. Definetly not a bolt on kit.

one thing i heard about turboing your car. Cheap, reliable, fast
turboing a car you pick two. buying a real kit its typically its the 2nd and the 3rd this one is only the first. You own a S2000 a 15k dollar car at least save and do it right! dont blow your engine cause you wanted to do it the cheap way, Im not being mean but I dont want to see you looking for another engine or whatever it may be! I think ive said all i need to say!

"Cheap, Reliable, and Fast. Pick Two."

That's just cars in general. Stay away from ebay kits.

the $2500 Godspeed kits are essentially the some ones that e-auto (s2ki sponsor is selling). There must've been a good deal on Turbonetics snails. Anyhow, these kits, especially the ones from e-auto look great.

Now, as far as these $1000 kits, I'd personally stay away from them. But...a local shop just installed one for an S2000 owner. I'm not sure what all they did to the car, but I think they said it put down ~390hp at the wheels. Not sure about the specifics, or even what type of dyno it was on. The shop did say the turbo manifold was horrible.

I don't think a cheap turbo kit would essentially blow your engine but cheap engine management will. But now that I think about it if a cheap wastegate failed and boost just kept building that could be bad too.. hmmm I dunno it could be a double edged sword haha
