In the instructions it's recommended to do so. With the 30mm upgrade I took out the bolt and nearly smoothed down the that entire area.

I had to grind a bunch off of the steering rack to get it to fit. Whenever I change the belt, its a very tight squeeze to get it around the crank pulley.

Sounds like the "fix" might be something LHT is doing that is not in the instructions. I have not heard of anyone that had them install it having these issues. if you have please chime in.

what a crappy design, how are you guys evening torquing the crank bolt since the OEM tool doesn't fit the stupid pulley?

Question about the 30mm race kit. Are all the pulleys the same size? Or different diameter like the 20mm pulleys

i dont see one for the s2000 on their site just the one for the BRZ/FRS
