Thumbs up Kraftwerks Owners

Please only vote if you actually own or owned a KW kit. I'm just weighing out my options and I am curious to see what the KW owners think from experience.

If you vote spend money on something else or no please elaborate on why you wouldn't.

Thanks in advance.

I have to say yes and no.

- The service over the two years has been very good from KW, second to none.
- The response from the sc on the track and occasional daily has been consistent. Still to this day I have not had ONE issue while other cars are vomiting or suffering heat exhaustion on the Sebring track.
- Power is my only objection. You can mod the C30 for $500 and over spin it further to 400ish WHP but...
- If I did it again I would go with TTS for the C38 and stick with Rotrex.

I still feel the same about my kit today. I'm very happy with it.

Still my opinion:

I had it and sold it b.c i wanted more power and now i will probably be going with the sos kit with the 1200 blower. For the price IMO kw is overpriced for a kit that doesnt give you much potential. It cant even hit 400 whp Safely

I was a KW owner and going turbo now.

If TTS c38 kit was available at the sametime KW's c30 kit I would have gone TTS and be pretty happy with 450whp+ without worrying if the blower is gonna explode. Instead now am taking my lost and buying a turbo.

Most of us always want more later on so..... get something else imo.
With that said KW customer service is top notch tho.

If your into tracking your car then KW all the way. Just enough power and it has a oil cooler to keep all temps in check.

No, way would i have done the TTS kit. That kit might make great power but its so ugly. Worst place ever to put the blower.

Having said that. I REALLY RREAALY wish the Kraftwerks had put some fortought into their kit and offered the c38. Having the blower maxed out, right out of the box is no bueno.

However for an easy bolt on kit it made excellent power even through the OEM exhaust.

My favorite thing about the KW kit was the clean look and the Hondata Reflash. The KW kit was the first to offer the reflash. this was great because i wouldnt have to trust my car to a tuner. This is no longer a selling point since the Hondata reflash is now available with many FI kits.

If Kraftwerks released a new Kit with the C38 then YES i would buy again, but since they dont and wont. I chose NO.

additionally the fit and finish of the KW kit is excellent. I love all the anodized brackets and custom made parts which make this install better than oem. Unlike some turbo kits where they provide a 'backstrap and zip ties' to mount an intercooler. KW really impressed me with their machined brackets. You pay for the quality of their design. Its a shame though they had so many small issues with the bearings in the pulleys.

If you want more power go turbo.Mase looks like a great kit, a super tuner and a solid company.I'm happy with my KW kit, zero problems (2 years) and a really nice bump in horse power and torque.Personally if I wanted more power than what I have I'd move on to a ZO6.Customer service is great but I really haven't needed any.Good luck with your decision but for my money KW all the way!!!

I am sure KW also chose to limit the output for KW high boost kit because any more power (450whp+) you are over double the stock rating and issues start appearing such as blown diffs etc...
