Wow i am so Jealous! I'd LOVE to run on Laguna Seca!

ANND you got to hang out with OJR! Thats pretty awesome! He's always been great to talk to whenever I have called. I'd love to check out their facility someday, but for now this thread will have to do.

Yeah, that was me in the Rio. In this clip we had slowed a bit towards the end of the session, and we were not pushing that hard on street tires. (in the end we decided not to trailer our track tires as planned -- making the cross country trip more enjoyable.) But it was great fun to run the two tracks anyway. Zack was super pissed at the guy in the orange Porsche 911 RS who did an illegal pass -- a local instructor, the guy was black flagged four times during the day. This was a joint Porsche Club/NorCal Racing Club event being run with Porsche Club rules, and point-by is standard in the Advanced group. You can't see it on the clip, but the orange RS almost pushed Zack off on T11, and as you can see he wasn't really able to pull away on the straight. We were happy just to pull off line and let the jerk go by. The white Porsche that went by was our paddock neighbor -- a GT2 set up for racing. He was fasst! What a great day!
