Default Lets talk oil feed lines

So my Bb Precision turbo is at precision getting a rebuild and CEA turbine upgrade. While its apart I went by Afs2k's interim house and checked out his Ptuning kit on his car. Kit look very well put together and I saw the oil distribution block they offer. I'm ordering one today for mine and need have some questions on the oil feed line.

Currently I have a -3an feed line with a 90 degree .030 restrictor. I've attached a pic of my oil feed line setup but I want to make it alot better and stop the slow seeping. The 90 degree end in the brass oil block doesn't get tight enough in the position I need it and thats been a problem from day 1. Its the same line I used with the mase kit and I shoulda upgraded long ago. My turbo was not blown when I removed it after 5k miles so I assume it was actually working.

ATP has the 4an oil feed line you can custom order. I need a link to a .030 restrictor that fits the precision. Does the precision have the same threads as Garrett?

Nothing wrong with that, I use a sandwhich adapter myself.

I'd also recommend using an inline filter, which usually is an inline restrictor as well, you can get different sizes.

I looked in my tool box and found a -4an .035 restrictor for a garrett turbo that pfab sent me a long time ago. Is the threads in the precision inlet the same as garrett? I dont have my turbo here to check. Its at precision

Precision/Garrett both use 1/8" NPT for the turbo oil inlet (BW use 1/4" NPT)

Thanks! I just emailed kings about their .031 nitrous jet that they customize to work as well. I have a .035 restrictor but some people have said it still smokes and used a .031 or .030.

Anyone using the FP inline oil feed filter on their setup? Like siadam said it does kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

The garret ball bearing oil feed is NOT 1/8 npt, like the precision units are. Vibrant makes a restrictor with 3 set screws of varying hole diameters (.030, .040, and .060) iirc. You want to get the 4an to 1/8 npt for your PTE ball bearing turbo to run with the stock restrictor that comes with the turbo.

is the length of the oil feed line going to make a huge difference? I think 18in is going to be a tad too short and i can get a 24in line. If its about 4 inches too long will that pose a problem?
