Lightened Flywheel, and stronger clutch
Ok guys I am getting ready for the spring and getting the 'ol S ready for her yearly Modding
and I am going with the CC Stage 3 clutch and I have their 11lb Flywheel.
What can I expect when under WOT, will the car feel much different, sound much different, how much quicker will I build boost, is it much trickier when switching gears up high, will it free up 5-10HP at the wheels? etc...........

To me a lighter flywheel seems like a bad investment, certainly not anything I would do unless I was building a car for pure track racing.
The clutch tho is more or less a must as you probably know, but if I didn't have to I would not have changed the clutch on my car either. It bites, sure does, but drive ability suffers some. Can imagine a twin disc being a good upgrade.

The only thing you'll notice performance wise is better syncup between the engine RPM and tranny RPM during very quick shifts due to a lighter flywheel.
You'll also notice annoying clutch chatter when under minimal load. Other than that you'll be happy. BTW, if you have not, be sure to remove the Clutch Delay Valve.

what I noticed was that the up shifts felt neutered with the lighter flywheel, you don't get that push back into your seat at the beginning of each shift. it's subtle, but I noticed it. at the same time that's probably a good thing for the drive train.
the clutch will be night and day!
so much better to actually have the clutch grip on gear shifts!
like kix said get rid of the CDV if you haven't already. you also may need to bleed the system and adjust the clutch pedal after the install. if you get it all back together and the clutch isn't disengaging correctly then check those two things.

i'd stay away from the lightened flywheel but that's just me. it will make rev matching easier which is good but rpm will drop FAST which is annoying when you want ot just cruise and don't feel like shifting like speedracer
since you have an Ap2 Flywheel. YAH you will notice the difference going to the 11lb flywheel. Your car will rev faster and Theres a good chance that you WILL make more power. The Ap2 Flywheel is so heavy its ridiculous, you will be happy with the change
Get it dyno'd afterwards to see if it did make a difference

I have the ACT package, and it gets annoying at times. It takes a little more patience/throttle/attentiveness to get started and make your shifts. It's definitely not as easy as stock, but well worth it when you get it moving.
