Default list of inputs on aem s2?

Does anyone have a list of input the aem will take wiring wise, eg oil temp, wideband etc.

Thanks

It can take any 5 volt sensor and at the very least display it in voltage. So virtually any sensor. Each EMS will have a different number of inputs that the ECU can accept based on the plug and play harness being used. Many of the sensors that you would wire up will not be able to directly affect the tune in some way. The EMS is fairly limited in this role. You can use wideband sensors to trim fuel and ignition, and EGT to trim fuel. Any sensor can be used as a trigger from within the EMS. Low or high voltage on a sensors could trigger a switched input on or off, that can be used in several feature throughout the EMS.

link here has the wiring for the AEM. It shows which positions can accept a 5 volt sensors. Look on the availability column for rows that say Avail 0-5v input.

What are you specifically trying to wire up, and how do you want to use this information, affect the tune, view, log, etc?

Hi,

Thanks.

Would like to look at say oil temperature, oil pressure with external sensors - these are just a few examples.

Cheers

Do you have a Datastream gauge?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, I think you will only be able to see the voltages, and not the actual pressure/temp using the AEM Software.

If you use a serial gauge and calibrate what min max is and if it's a sin table or some Shit like that then you can get a value. But Aempro no you will just see voltage

The new firmware set to release next week will allow you to actually calibrate the sensor and see a pressure
