Default A little help please?

Hey guys, so im just about to go turbo, im getting a killer deal from a company called Bell industries that specialize in miata turbos, and they are wanting to do s2000's also. They will be using my car as the first one, its a good deal because it will be a nice daily driver turbo adding around 75-80 whp. So they emailed me asking if i know how many teeth the cam and crank sensors have, if any teeth were missing, and if the spacing was even? this question is pertaining to differant ecu options. its got me stumped and i would love a little help from you guys. my car is a MY 2000. Thanks.

i would stick with something tried and true like the AEM or Kpro

here is the cam wheel for a kpro app

and here is the crank

i know yours will look different on a stock AP1, but here is an idea of what they look like

I'm sure I will sound like a dick when I say this, but 75-80whp isn't worth the effort or $$ for a turbo system.

Spray the motor for a fraction of the price if thats all the power you want.

are they trying to reinvent the wheel?

eman ult, krpo, aem ems, eman blue <cringe>, flashpro.

tell them to concentrate on the fit and finish of the kit, and the actual tune

I realize its not alot of hp, but hes a family friend and its only going to cost me $1000 installled with the ecu. I know he uses the greddy emanage and another one that i cant remember. This guy knows what hes doing and he's been building turbos since 1977, and written a book called "Maximum Boost". Ill keep you all updated on the build and what not. So do any of you know the stock ap1 number of teeth on the cam and crank sensor, i have no clue haha.

You should shoot for 400 to the wheels.
