Default LOL YESSS

I have the greddy kit right now with a few mods added to the kit like a 60mm tp and 60mm dual, etc. I haven't taken the S out for a while, but I took her out on Monday to see if she was still running fine. First thing I notice is all 4 of my O rings for my injectors had been shot?! So I replace the O rings and get the car running. After the car was warmed up properly I decided to start doing some runs. I thought I was going to have problems with my AFR's, boost creeping/spiking, etc because of the cold weather (Here in Long Island, NY, temps are currently in the low 30's). But, crapp the car has become a monsterr lollll. AFR's are flawless. According to my wideband, I'm running 14.5.-14.9 when idling and cruising and at WOT I'm around 10.8-11.4. I normally hold a steady 10.5psi on my boost. I was still hitting 10.5psi since my boost control was limited to that. After my first run I noticed that the car was pulling a lot harder than before. I did a few more and confirmed that this was true. So I decided to try to up the boost. Now if you have a greddy kit you know that the kit pretty much doesn't see over 12.5psi because of its small turbo. But, after playing with the boost, I got the car at a steady 13psi with perfect AFR's. LOLL I'm almost positive that I have gained at least 10whp from the cold weather and a few adjustments. Btw, I know it might not be good to run the little turbo so hard, but I just wanted to see this one time. Final conclusion here is that my car LOVES the cold weather and that day I had a wholeeee lot of funn. Anyway I thought I should share this experience for those of you who are planning to put your S2k's away for the winter for good. There are always some nice days to run the S, even on those cold winter days, so don't lock here away!

I agree, 3hp for every 10 degrees colder is the average. Been enjoying my car too

winter was awesome for boost,
it was hard to keep 400whp from going sideways on my little 16" wintersport tires though

We took our 520whp MK3 Supra, 540whp MK3 Supra, 480whp MK4 and 540whp M3 out for a spiritated cruise tonight. It was 50 degrees. These cars were tuned in 90 degree weather. Cars felt GREAT tonight to say the least

o yea! im used to driving in 80-90 degree temps and the 40-50 degree temps we've been holding all day here in florida lately really makes a big difference as far as i can tell. it also makes a bigger difference when your tuned on the rich side. i feel my spool up is much faster and stronger. maybe the density of the compared to what it was tuned on
