Default Looking for some answers

I just recently bought a CTSC w AC with 7lb pully on it (not installed yet) and already have an emanage blue installed with the injectors harness running the car N/A.

My questions is. Im planning on getting the RC550 injectors for my car so i can run 7 psi safely using the emanage instead of using the FMU. I want to keep somewhat stock fuel pressure. I know that the 550s are the max size injector that the emanage blue can handle. So my questions are:
1) Will my car idle and run fine with a proper tune or is this too close to the limit for injectors.
2) For me to get the car to the dyno will i be able to run the car without boosting or remove belt if all i did was change the injector compensation setting in the emanage menu?
3) And last but not least... how much more boost can i run on this setup (if/when i want more boost in the future)... 9psi?

thanks

It will start and idle ok. Emanage is told, during initial setup, what size injectors you have. It then tricks the stock ECU into thinking that the car is not getting enough air, and that makes the eCU adjust fuel trim to lower.

Technically, you can run bigger injectors than 550s. It's just that at that point Emanage is telling the ECU you are getting way less air than what's expected by the ECU. here's the math: 750/stock 330s = 2.27. EManage will be telling the ECU that you're getting 2.27 less air (in volume) than you actually are, thus making the ECU cut fuel.

2) Sure would be good to have a wideband. That way you can just keep an eye out. With SC's power delivery being all linear, you can just add fuel on your own, with a wideband and a laptop. That would make it ok to drive to the tuner.

3) towards 10 psi, you're really maxing out the stock MAP. You'll need to get the Missing link adapter, and the Greddy Emanage 3bar plug and play MAP. You also should be ok at that point with fuel delivery by 550s. You'll know if injector duty is being maxed out at the dyno, since they'll be tuning with a wideband.

It would be good to have a wideband and an access to the Emanage software. You can do a rough tune by yourself. And then get it fine-tuned at the dyno.

I do have the software and cable for the emanage and I also have a wideband LC1. The wideband is also connected into the emanage so I can datalog it all. I'm pritty sure I can tune it myself but I'm a little unsure what values to start off with in the maps to get the car to idle unless the injector compensating part of the emanage works that good that it will start up and idle good. I was told stock are 380cc or 360cc.

So at somewhat stock fuel pressure and no fmu I can run up to 10psi without issue?

Thanks for the help.

Ok I'm gonna try and answer one of my questions myself.
If I install 550cc injectors and the compensation set to the new injectors in the emanage settings. If I start the car is the stockecu going to compensate for the rest or will the car be at example... 12 to 1 afr and then I need to subtract more fuel via the airflow map to get the car to idle at 14.7 afr? What about at low throttle since the afr would be all over the place?

I ran 550 in the emanage with no problem, they come this way with the greddy turbo kit. I am now running 1000cc ID injectors but I am still working on getting them dialed in. It runs fine all but idle when its hot or after I get on in.

If you already have the Emanage installed and tuned, you can drive to your tuner safely if you don't go into boost.
