i am currently @ 10psi with a 3.8 pulley.
making 400 whps @ Evans tuning's dyno, which is around 380 on a dynojet .

so i am planning to upgrade my v3 sci trim from vortech, and get a smaller pulley and up the boost,
but b4 i am doing it , i want to know what is a sage boost number i can hit with OEM engine.
not planning to build the engine any time soon.

anyone with high boost with 93 pump gas?

 

I've been running 12.5 psi on my vortech for a while now. Once I put a new engine in I will probably go up t0 14 psi. I don't think I would want to go over that without running higher octane fuel.
I've always been advised to not really go over 14 psi on 93 with my sc.

 

Is ur car ap1 or 2 whats ur rpm reline set at? Pulley size?
I am planing to do 14 n 8k rpm.

 

I have an AP1 so 9k redline using 4" pulley.

I will be putting in an F22 over the winter.

 

Im at 15psi with a 3" pully tuned by Jeff also. im at 405whp.. seems low if ur making that on just 10 psi. Im on 93 AEM2 and comptech Novi1000 ID725s. AP1.

 

Its because your on the very old Novi 1000 blower.

Evans dyno is a dyna pack dyno. I made 406whp there on 12.5 psi. AP1 vortech V2 kit.

 

Yeah with the Novi1000 cracking 400whp at all is not that common, so 405whp is pretty awesome. These blower just run out of their max efficiency window past about 10psi, they are most efficient between 6-9psi, after that the returns diminish quite a bit.

We have 92 in WA, with 93 I would think that a good tuner could get you tuned 15+ psi. If you wanted to insure this and maximize your blower on 93 safely, get a water/meth injection kit.
