I made 125,3 db with my 3" exhaust And that's #### loud!

But i'm still N/A, soon to be Turbo'd.

 

I was also curious if there are any fitment issues with this exhaust on an AP2? I see how it angles out to the right and didn't know if it would hit the rear bumper. Anyone know?

 

I'll be making another comparison video of this exhaust at the end of july if you can wait till then

 

I'm actually probably going to be ordering it today... I just wanted to get a feel for what the sound was like... is it comparable to another exhaust out there? Deep? High pitched? etc Any description is appreciated

Also, if anyone knows if this fits an AP2 rear bumper without hitting, I'd appreciate it!

He hasn't been responding to PMs for the past 4 days. I think he's been busy with stuff @ the shop. You can try anyway though, let me know if he responds. Back to topic, I SHOULD be picking up my car weds or thurs from them and I'll take a vid and post it if you can wait til then.

 

I did some research on this as well before I bought my inline pro kit, I had the invidia on and was dissatisfied with how loud it was and they explained to me that it will actually quiet down significantly with the turbo, these exhausts, the t1r, invidia etc. are actually louder when you're NA hence you're custom 3 inch exhaust is larger and flows more but is still quieter with you're turbo setup, I would guess though if you put a 3 inch exhaust it'll be loud as hell and it could even hurt you're performance due to a loss of exhaust gas velocity, I'd stick with a 70mm until you're ready to go turbo.

 

 

ah, so i take it the silver AP2 at the shop is yours. The car is looking good. Yeah Ya is usaually pretty busy and dont know if he gets the chance to answer any PM's on the weekends. He should get back to you soon, if anything im always free for any questions you may have.
