If you are tying to squeeze 25-30PSI out of a GT3076 with a headgasket would you say thats safe for a DD?
I wouldn't recommend it because you will have to always run race gas.

Mine is only taken out on the weekends to beat up on the so called fast cars around these parts........I have yet to lose.

Spoolin are you running that much boost on a headgasket? Race fuel to prevent detonation and blowning the gasket? Or is that just to much boost for the headgasket to handle? Im just trying to figure out how much boost those 3mm headgaskets could handle fairly reliably with a good tune.

if you ask me, i would say go "go hard or go home" so why not just built the block? that way you don't have to worry about it? now if money is a issue, them go with the 3mm HG

On normal premium gasoline, if you're only looking for power up to 500 rwhp, the hg is the best choice for convenience and price. If you want more than 500 rwhp, than building the block is probably the best choice unless you want to run race gas like spoolin does.

How many of those 'fast cars' that you race are people's daily drivers and run 93 octane?

Yes, I'm running 25 lbs on the stock engine with only the Inline-Pro 3mm HG and ARP headstuds on Turbo Blue 110 octane/105 motor octane. John at Inline-Pro is running something like 23 lbs on 93 octane pump gas and 26 lbs on C16 with the same engine setup as mine. I just have a different turbo and equal length tubular manifold.

I would assume that the Inline-Pro 3mm HG is good for around 30 psi and race fuel on a very good tune. The stock engine with the 3mm HG, ARP headstuds, and race gas should be easily good for 600 whp.

Most are also running around on race gas too. If I'm running on pump gas, 93 octane, I'm putting down well over 450 whp on 16 psi. I can safely run up to about 23 psi on pump gas too but I prefer to run race fuel because of the added security and just run a couple of psi more for a little added power.
