Default lower compression or meth?

currently running sos 1200 blower with heat exchnger aem series2 1000cc injectors with a 3.6inch pulley with gives me 12psi right at 8k on my f22. wanting a lil more power and my tuner says that im pretty much on the limit of 94 pump gas. he speaks highly of meth and says its an easy way to lower combustion temps and reduce knock but if lowering compression will give me the same result id rather do that cuz i think its safer. ive herd lowering compression can result in a loss of mid range power and torque but i dont have much experiance with this FI stuff so what do you guys think?

I'm going to subscribe because I'm wanting to make good numbers on my SOS kit but stay on pump.

I say go meth. I use it and love it. Nothing like flogging the car and popping the hood and the intake is ice cold. Properly set up with a flow monitor and guage of some sort its about as safe as anything else. I run my turbo car up to 18psi on pump 93 with a 50/50 mix. Could be taken higher than that if I wanted to push it. Spend the extra money for the flow guage and monitor though, its worth it for the safety and peace of mind. Plus it makes the exhaust smell like skunky beer. Can't beat that.

I'd do neither. E85!

I know every engine is different but 94 octane should be able to support 14-15 psi no problem. My vote goes to water/meth or even better E85.

you could go to 13/14psi if you control iat's and get a good tune. but honestly, e85 would be your best bet. then way mo boost and timing. way mo powa.

The question for the OP is how many or how accessible are gas stations that carry E-85 near you? I know in FL we have a few but still not enough for where I want my car to run on E-85.
