Default Lowering under hood temps

I'm looking into lowering the temp under the hood with my comptech sc set up. With the outside heat and the heat under the hood, It's blazing under there. I'm gonna try to vent the hood via sfactor, but what else can I do? Would tripping the fan to constantly run as soon as the key is on be ok? Any suggestions would be great.. Thank you!

setting the fan to constantly run will only wear the fan out sooner. a vented hood can help and also a lower temp thermostat can help.

Wrap your header.

I had the same issue with my SOS setup. I purchased a vented hood with two huge louvers. My oil temps dropped by 20 deg F.

Header wrap or ceramic coating is something I was considering. Every little bit counts.

I've been wondering this as well, Oklahoma heat where I live gets up to 115 degrees in the summer and I'm worried about the choice to go turbo with all that heat!

Could anyone post up some heat-wrapped S2k engine bays?

My track forged manifold and downpipe is wrapped really thick with dei titanium wrap. I also run the dei turbo blanket. All water lines are shielded with fire sleeves. The wire harness, ac lines and power steering wire are all wrapped with dei cool tape. I made a custom aluminum heat shield to protect the fuse box and battery. I also run a vented sibon Magen hood.
