Default Lube it good

So I've been putting together a turbo kit for a while now and I still need to get some oil lines. I've seen a few supercharger set ups that simply replace the drain plug on the oil pan with an AN fitting and route their drain line to that. Would this be an option for for my setup as well? I'd rather not tap the pan. Also what are my options for a feed line? Any other issues that should be considered? Thanks guys.

I use the oil sending unit as a feed and my return goes into my timing chain cover. I would not run it to the drain bolt as it will back up and you car will smoke.

ahh ok. U mean the oil sending unit as in where the pressure sensor typically is? And yea thats what I was worried about since the line would be below the surface of oil

First. It's hilarious that on the main page is said lube it go and below it said snuggles. Rofl. Second. It's not concrete that draining into oil drain plug is bad. Sos does it on there kits. Smoking turbos happen from incorrect restrictor on feed line. S2k has manly oil pressure.

Lol glad I could amuse you. Yea that's what I don't get. Other kits do it. Maybe it could wear out the seals prematurely?

While I don't advocate using the oil drain for the return line, many users seem to get away with it. I suspect those who run this setup (with success) have turbos that are mounted high enough that using the drain as a return isn't a big deal (top mount/sidewinder).

I think I may try it and if I notice much smoke or anything I'll just tap the timing chain cover. Anyone have any solid advice on restrictors?

Will you be using a ball bearing or journal bearing turbo?
