Default Magnus Intake manifold fitment issues

Brought a magnus intake manifold from a guy that was building a drag car in the UK but he gave up so it was brand new and unused. It was originally purchased through kings performance. I have come to fit it to my newly built engine and it didn't fit. It was fouling on the top belt tensioner bolt and part of the alternator, I didn't have time to mess about sending it back etc so quickly modified it so it does fit (pic below).

What I want to know has anyone else had problems?

Wow that's really odd... You'd figure if they charge $600 for an intake manifold that it would actually fit.

I have not heard of many people with that manifold for the s2000.

No point now calling them its on and hopefully working, I think the jig must of moved when welding it as the plenum chamber is at a different angle to the runners which in turn has pushed the bottom of the plenum closer to the floor resulting in major fouling. It seems most things I buy never fit straight on

Old post but I'm here to report I had the same issue. I had to go with the hondata manifold spacer plus use a hex pan head bolt in order for it to fit. The flange for the OEM water outlet was also a major pain. Had to bend one of the outlets out of the way and the manifold was impossible to install using bolts because of the flange. Studs had to be used since you cant fit the bolts in where the flange is for the water outlet - only has enough room to fit a nut.

After doing the install, I don't think I can recommend Magnus intake manifolds to anyone on here. Maybe our two were early prototypes or just poor QC/bad luck?
