Default Making decision between ptuning and mase kit

I was wondering if anyone could possibly sway me one way or another cause ive narrowed my choice of turbo kits down to ptuning or mase but I just dont know which one. Currently my goal is 550whp on pump and the motors being built so if I go mase im going with 6262 if ptuning its a 35r. Someone help

Yikes...That's a hard decision. They are both awesome kits. I would obviously go with Ptuning's kit because....well...I have their kit

But Ptuning's kit has a couple of things over Mase's kit and that's the thought out oil pump, the optional oil cooler, equal length manifold and the turbo sits lower and its cooler down there. With the turbo sitting so low, the exhaust comes out almost straight out and is a full 3 inch. There are a couple more things but again, I personally picked Ptuning.

Yeah It's a hard decision.
I'm personally thinking of upgrading to a Ptuning with my built motor also. My goal is 350-400 rw tq.. (400 being awesome)
Horsepower is just some theoretical number based off torque anyways, torque is what really matters..

I want decent spool also.. I'm sure if you want Ptuning could do whatever turbo you want also(Precision etc etc), they seem very accommodating.

As far as a turbo, I'm really stuck also..
Some say 6262 but get a .63 back housing for better spool.
Ptuning says 35R
Others say HTA3586R

Yeah its tough i do like ptunings oiling system but also mases kits really has been proven as a pretty good kit except for the main con is that it produces a decent amount of heat. I just put the 550whp out there cause thats how alot of ppl on here think, I have similar goals to you I want between 350-400 rw tq and believe 35r suited pretty well. I know precisions turbos spool faster and make more power like 6262 vs 35r but garrett probably makes the most reliable turbos out there currently precisions been having tons of problems with there turbos as all of you's know. Ahh my brain hasnt stopped thinkin these past 2 weeks between the 2 kits and price is almost identical with both kits upgraded to either 6262 or 35r with supporting fueling upgrades. uhhhh so hard

Both kits should have no issues hitting your goals and depending on your setup you could even hit your goal on pump. I think I am probably sitting at 525WHP now and TurboR went 535WHP with less boost than me.

The heat management for the PTuning kit would be easier, but this is true with any bottom mount setup. As you pointed out thier oil scavenging pump is VERY nice, not to mention the intercooler and attentions to details like the required support brackets.....

The only thing I can't say about PTuning is the performance, however they are still testing telling me that when they do fully release it should be top notch.

As for the Mase kit the price for a COMPLETE system is very reasonable for our cars and as you have said it makes great power, without sacrificing spool or having to make any major changes to the car. There are only a few things not supplied that I would recommend on top of the kit.

Verdict: I am happy with the Mase kit but I think the PTuning kit would fit my goals, driving style and concerns a bit better however I would never sell it for a Ptuning b/c there is not enough difference to even consider it.
