^I believe Phil's car is running a 63mm downpipe... Not sure on the exhaust diameter, but I think it was a 70mm... Mase designed the kit specifically for the smaller DP, I believe.

Not too sure about the physics of it, but I think a little bit of back pressure helps sometimes.

with N/A you need some backpressure, with a turbo'd car, I am pretty sure you do not need/want backpressure. Dont quote me though. Very nice setup though!

NA + backpressure = good (torque down low)
FI + backpressure = bad (kills spool up time).

nah, thats perfect. at 500 whp, single 3 inch is DONE. Dual 3 inch, on a V8 is done at 800 hp. so..400 hp per 3 inch pipe with muff.
So many guys on here are really pushing it, with 3 inch pipe on their turbo cars.
Pretty much all the big names on here, should have 4 inch.
My buds street driven nova, has dual 5 inch.
3" is good til 600+

Supras don't swap into 4" until they are around 700.

Common misconception as is the fuel pump.
Standard walbro 255 will handle 600 hp aswell

Even in an N/A application, the old rule about backpressure is pure BS. No backpressure is absolutely always better, if you have a means to tune your car.

Looks like someone might needs some new rear tires soon too.
