Mase Engineering?
Wow, this thread is over the top.
I know Mase quite well, I would consider him a friend of mine, Ive been doing business with him for years, he has flawlessly worked his magic on my s2000, supra, and porsche. If any of you know his work load, you would understand. Sadly, forums like these you only hear the bad. the few bad instances out of thousands of clients of Mase that are extremely happy.
Many of you probably forget or dont realize, S2000's are not the only thing he works on. If you were to pop into his shop, its not uncommon to see cars like NSX,Ford GT, Lotus, Corvettes, Porsches, as well as the s2000s and the hondas you all love. Not only is he a business owner, designer, but he is a worldwide engine tuner, he has been brought into several race teams around the world on professional platforms that take a lot of time in itself. Not to mention the 1000's of private clientel street/weekend cars he has tuned.
The s2000 turbo kits were a big hit for quite awhile, with the way the market goes, and unfortunate fact his employees have let him down, its difficult to juggle. I do know he has stopped taking orders for s2000s. I have been to his office and seen the amount of emails he gets a day. You have to make a business decision when you only have x amount of hours a day.
He is in demand for what he does, because he is one of the best out there. Anyone who knows him, knows he bends over backwards when needed. Before I knew him well, he stayed up late for me constantly, helping and teaching me the ways of forced induction, then went i switched over to other platforms, he of course got my business, and always came through for me.
Anyone can sit there and say, well he should respond to emails or hire more people. Its extremely difficult to hire guys to help when most of the emails are so vastly technical that he would have to respond to them anyways. I do know that he has also been interviewing new fab guys with no success, so until that happens, I imagine the kits will be put on hold. I also know of a Viper and an NSX waiting patiently to be scheduled into his shop for forced induction kits. Those clients are the ones you want, who wait for the best, and who dont mind paying for it. It doesnt take a skilled economist to realize which market segment to go after when your resources are limited.
As someone said before, he isnt ripping people off, he gets what he promises done, sometimes it just takes him longer, because he's time is limited. Remember the principal of supply and demand people. Cut him some slack.

Agreed! i was there yesterday talking with him. It's kinda hard to check the emails, work on cars, answer phones all at the sametime. Thats why i was only there for a brief min. so that i wouldn't hold him up. But im sure he will contact you guys asap.
Funny thing, inline pro seems to have no problem answering emails.. There's no excuse dude, the b/s of the one guy on here still not receiving his kit from when he ordered it almost 4 months ago is insane, idc how busy you are at that point you need some help or you need to stop advertising your business..
I still think he needs to get his crap together. Almost two months for half a freakin etune. Had to get Jeff Evans to do mop up and I am thankful I did. Took Jeff less than five days.

It took my old neighbor 4 months and 4 days to get his complete Full-Race kit, when he was told 6 weeks till delivered. i remember several phone calls with no return or with "its on its way" answer. but guess what, he waited, it came, turned out great, end of story. Things take time. Especially if you have 10+ kits on order, and your main fab guy lets you down, you do the math. maybe you should reread my above post, he stopped taking orders months ago, yet still has plenty of people wanting them, ready to give deposits.
