Default Mase kit or ptuning kit

Hey guys, i'm planning to go turbo soon. Need more boost than my kraftwerks high boost. just curious whats the advantages and disadvantages of both kit? My goal 415whp on low boost and around 480-500whp on high boost. Any input would be helpful for me to choose. Btw, do you need a headgasket if you go more than 15psi?

I think both kits are very good and it's close to a toss up. I would kind of lean toward the ptuning kit though with there upgraded gt30 turbo.

As a KW owner I am looking in this direction, the same that another KW owner EternalLx went although without the dpi. Here is a link to his build https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/839...s-turbo-build/

Yup I went Ptuning and loving it.
Theres too much heat in the engine bay with a sidewinder setup like mase imo.
Main reason to have a sidewinder on an s2k is to fit a huge turbo (gt40+ or the new EFR turbos), again imo

<---- Also went PTuning. I don't think the sidewinder manifold is worth it for your goals. You have to worry about underhood temps and the manifold cracking. With PTuning manifold you get just as fast a spool, equal length manifold, and lower underhood temps. Combine that with all the extras they include with the kit (scavenger oil pump, vaccuum block, upgraded engine mount, oem oil filter location, etc.) and the possibility of future upgrades (gt35, oil cooler for tracking, water/meth, etc.), the PTuning kit can't be beaten right now.

If you're in the Mid-A you're welcome to come check out the kit in person. I live in northern VA.

I don't have the kit but I saw it during production, it should come with instructions I know there were working on them they should be done now. The car should make around 400-420hp on a low reading dyno 450 on a dyno jet and a bit more on a dyno pack. AP2's seem to make a bit more power. You should also get pretty good support from Carlos and Toan.
