Hi all,

I need some help. I'm in the middle of building my turbo set up. I have a gt3076 with 3 inch vband outlet. I just purchased a used mase turbo manifold and downpipe for a descent price but the downpipe is 2.5 inch 4 bolt. If I purchase an adapter, how much will this effect the flow as it will be going from 3" turbo outlet to 2.5" downpipe.

The problem wouldnt be the flow. The adapter might make your down pipe not fit correctly. I would cut/weld on a 2.5 to 3" pipe with a vband on it.

 

Have the downpipe modified (cheaper) or buy a different exhaust housing for your turbo (expensive).
