Default Max horsepower for a Supercharger?

So this may have been asked before but after searching the forum and getting no answer to my question i decided to ask anyways! Until recently i was going to turbo my s2000 and i was planning on around 600whp, however i have recently been doing some research on superchargers and i was wondering what is the max whp that you can get with a supercharger for an s2000? I was looking at the vortech surpercharger kit for honda s2000 but it only stated that it will give 358hp, however there are also other superchargers like the V9 (http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/product.php?p=18) that will give 600 hp, now i know these are not kits but couldnt these be used with bigger injectors and fuel pump and ecu etc. to make a higher horsepower supercharged honda s2000? Thanks in advance for the help.

Simple about 420ish whp with stock headgasket and 12-14psi. 500whp+ with a t-trim vortech and 3mm hg or lower compression pistons...or stock headgasket and e85. Need the 1200 blower if you want sos kit.

Okay so i took a look at both those links above. Also doesnt the sos kit automatically come with the 1200 blower? and is an e85 the fuel pump?

No it comes with a self lubed 1220 blower. E85 is a type of gas...85% ethanol and 15% pump gas 108 octane.

If you are shooting for power go with a turbo. If you are going for reliability go with the SC'er.

500whp on a SC'er is going to take alot in supporting mods.

there is a point where the money spent will exceed the performance you are desiring.

Copy&paste from Superchargersonline.com

SCOL: What’s the difference between all these head units that Vortech makes – are some for racing and some for the street?

V: Vortech makes over 25 head units and nearly all are dual purpose. Each unit has different flow and pressure characteristics. Vortech uses a SAE approved test stand to map each compressor. We then look at the characteristics of the engine and see which unit will work best. There is always a right tool for the job. You cannot simply assume only a few chargers can meet the needs of all types of engines.

hope this explain to you.

I am only looking for roughly 500whp, and i know i will need many supporting mods for his however this is the case with a turbo or a supercharger at horsepower levels that I am trying to achieve! Sorry i didnt know about the e85, i am still learning here keep that in mind! So I am ideally looking for reliability of a supercharger but also some decent power, and i know turbo would probably be better for the amount of horsepower i am looking for but i am just trying to find out if it is possible, without using e85, i use 94octane and i would like 500whp with that gas and the supporting mods for a supercharger!
