Default Minor Problems

long story short I got my turbo kit a couple weeks ago its running fine. I take it to get tuned there is a problem with vtec. Where ever it is set it doesn't want to switch over to hi cam or doesn't want to engage. I know of this problem i heard of it before happening on other Honda's but I'm not dealing with the headache so i take it to a friends shop; which is very busy sometimes. I researched the issue, and gave them all the tools and information to fix it hopefully soon.

Now I have been looking at all the other turbo car's and there is something different i notice from my setup. Near all the pulley belts on the cars there is a coolant hose that people have run somewhere but mine is blocked off should i worry or can this be causing the problems I am having?

What does this hose do and connect to?

Pictures of how mine is

Examples why I'm worried

I'm asking because I'm tired of having my car at the shop, because i am paying for them to make the wrong guesses and I'm sick of driving a 350z which makes me miss my car even more
Sorry for big pictures

It would be helpful to list every mod you have to start. Sounds like a tuning issue or map sensor, wrong plugs.

This is that kit that was sold by member REGMILLA or something like that on the socal boards right? I remember seeing it on the board for ever..

Who is doing your tune?
I would take the car over to Bisimoto, he's pretty close and has been doing great tunes for people.

That line is blocked off cause with the oil relocation kit removes the factory oil cooler/heater.

Where is that oil feed line going to? Its not off the oil pressure sensor I see.

that hose has nothing to do with your problem. That hose goes to the stock oil cooler sandwich adapter. Could be low on oil? Could be a bad vtec solenoid.

yeah, just go through the steps in the helms' to figure out if you are getting the proper oil pressure and that the vtec solenoid is working

I dont like the looks of your crank vent instilation, the way your front breather and pvc are coupled together. Did anyone else notice this? it may or may not be related but it might cause another issue down the road if it isnt already. Or it may fine, but I have never seen the lines configured like this and seems like they would be conflicting with eachother.
