Default Mishimoto Intercooler

Just wondering if anyone has been using Mishimoto Intercoolers? They are very inexpensive but would they get the job done compared to a Precision intercooler for example?

I've heard they perform well for the money.

They look less dense than the Precision intercoolers, but they are cheap

hummm wonder if there shroud will mount up to my PWR 55mm racing core. since it is setup to take the factory fans/hardware. looks like the shroud mounts to the factory fan mounting spots...

Mishimoto can't be using spal fans the price is just to cheep.

I probably could just make my own shroud for less than 265...

Back on topic…

The thinner interface ( quicker heat transfer while moving) you can get the better in an intercooler as long as that interface is thick enough to take the pressure you are running.

Dont use it, it's junk... Scott had it and had overheating issues, then went back to OEM fans and all is well again.

People seem to be easily fooled by this Japanese "named" chinese manufactured junk company..

^^^ I dont see how "junk" their stuff can be... The cwest S2000 uses their radiator and I am sure they could afford to put whatever they feel like into that car.

Those intercoolers are the same as OBX imo..
The fans have shown to flow less than OEM fans.

LOL the Cwest S2000 also runs Brian Crower cams which have never been proven to make power in FI cars, they have actually lost power when tested on this site.
They also run a Greddy turbo kit...LMFAO!
Wake up and smell the coffee, this car is put together with free sponsor parts for advertising, not top grade performance parts.

Pictured is the Precision and Greddy intercoolers

The Greddy is probably around 15FPI but the Precision is much denser
