Missing bolts to turbo downpipe

Angry Missing bolts to turbo downpipe

hey so im driving and notice my car which i had for a month and just got is lounder than usual. sounded like i had a hole in my muffler somewhere. so i check it out and its coming from the engine bay and notice the downpipe is not attacted to the car. its missing 3 bolts and the noise is coming from there. what size bolt do i need to get from home deopt. that way i could start driving. thx.

that's a common problem, the vibration can cause the bolts to back out. lock washers may help but I don't know. on my turbo crx I just torque'd the shit out of them

as far as the size, don't know it's gonna be standard I know that. and make sure it's not too deep since it'll go into the turbine housing.

yeah i dont know what size bolt to buy??? any help would be appreciated i dont have a car for school tommorrow

depends on turbo, i have seen both metric and standard, this is why i stongly suggest to modify the hot side of the turbo with vband along with down pipe!

i guess im going to try calling ya at inline pro tomorrow since hes the one who did this setup, i really dont know much except what the link above tells me. so he should be able to help.

^ I am in the process of that now. I bought the normal chain pipe cutter yesterday to cut the downpipe flange off of the IP DP and it just destroyed the wheels on the cutter. I had to use a hacksaw and some patience. Welded the v-band flange on today and should be getting the t3-vband flange tomorrow.

My Precision hotside housing is an m8 1.25 pitch 1.5 inch long bolt though.

IP = Inlinepro
DP = Down pipe
Inlinepro cam e with a 5 bold flange
V-band flange = much easier removal
