Default Modified the mini-me from LoveFab PICS ADDED

A picture is worth a 1000 words:

Now you might ask your self whats wrong and why it happens all the time. I found out.
This used to be the V1 set-up on Cody's car:

Note how high the DP sits and how nice the clearance is.
On this picture you can see why his DP did not hit the frame, because there was a slight bend just above the WG flange.

My DP is straight so we had to squeeze it and cut into the frame

Now here is a picture of my DP, note how low it sits.

No matter how I take care, watch out and dry extremely slow over speed bumps, I always hit it. This picture shows that I am at stock ride hight, so he cannot blame me for slaming my car:

From day one I had nothing but headache with this turbo-kit and it's not because the turbo kit is bad, it's because Cody produced a terrible DP. Since the DP and manifold are being welded as a pair, I think I should have the right to get a new DP and a new manifold that have a good clearance.

This would finally make me be able to drive my car and Cody would fix his reputation on the forums.Aus2000 got a good DP, flexer gor a good DP, why do I have to live with such a POS for that much money?

i'd try to help but last time i tried posting in defense of the O.P., lovefab kit humper Aus2000 came in to act like a pompous ass, so i'll stay out of this one but just say good luck and i'm sorry you purchased that kit. It's silly to sell a race manifold like that for the street where it will see a lot more vibration and abuse than the dragstrips those designs were meant for.

Don't worry about Aus2000, he has the same kit, we are in contact and I am sure he understands that I need a new DP+mani. His DP is perfect as per the last PM I got from him.

Now I don't want this to turn into a hate thread, just need civilized help in a "lifetime warranty agains cracks".

I feel bad for you and your situation, but because of the way you have trashed Cody in the past, I don't think you are going to get any warranty replacement from him.

Maybe I'm not reading this right? You've been hitting things with your down pipe, you knew you were hitting things with your downpipe, and you kept driving it in that condition anyway until your manifold broke in half, and it's cody's fault because you didn't get this adjusted?

Now I don't want this to turn into a hate thread, just need civilized help in a "lifetime warranty agains cracks"
Just what do you want people to do? How do you want us to help without this turning into yet another anti-lovefab thread and without having people threaten him until he does as you wish?

This would finally make me be able to drive my car and Cody would fix his reputation on the forums
How will you getting a new setup this fix his reputaion? The people that hate him are still going to hate him, and are you suddenly going to take back eveything you've ever said about him?

I don't think Cody will even reply on my e-mail since he dod not do so for a looong time.
What have you done so far to contact him about this issue and when was the last time you tried? How long have you given him to reply?

On this picture you can see why his DP did not hit the frame, because there was a slight bend just above the WG flange.
Do you have a pic of your downpipe not installed and taken from the side like that pic? The closeup pic of your downpipe installed on the car doesn't show much to be able to compare angles, but a pic of your pipe taken in the same manner would make comparing the two much easier.

Also, do you have any pics of the downpipe with your car on the ground and not up in the air? Because it looks just as low as mine from that pic and I don't hit anything without doing something stupid like driving too fast up my steep driveway after I first installed it.

I'm not being sarcastic, I just want more info. Your asking a lot and we have no idea what his side of the story is. Your posting pics from his site, and then pics of your car taken from completely different angles at completely different distances and basically saying "see they look nothing like each other!". Thats no way to make a fair comparison when all we have to go by is photographs.

I don't hit things on regular basis, no steep drive way in this part of the world. it's just once in a while I drive to a new area and have to cross higher speed bumps. That's all it needs to crack. If the DP would be in correct hight, it would not happen. It does not hapen to flexer or Aus2000
Now regarding "adjusting". It's not a hood lash, it's a downpipe..a solid piece of steel I paid 7400USD for.
I don't want to adjust anything, I want the "best turbo kit hands down" I paid for.

As I see things (no back up), I will wait for the Greddy to come out or swith to Inlinepro or whatever.
Cody send me a piece of crap IC piping ,a pieace of crap DP and a piece of crap of a turbo manifold that my mechanic was laughing at when he saw it from the inside. All other parts are ok, because he does not produce them.
I don't see any relation between sharing my BAD experience on a public forum and a warranty I paid for, sorry.
