Default More Greddy Questions

Question One - Where did you mount your Emanage?

Question Two - Is it worth it to go to a 3 Bar map?

mine is mounted behind the seat.. for a while it was just laying back there before my shop permanently fixed it to the wall behind the seat

run a greddy pressure sensor; more accurate than the stock map

When I used an emanage, I mounted it under the seat.

The greddy kit isn't going to boost anywhere near ~30psi or even half that, seems like a waste to me.

You suggest sticking with the stock MAP sensor?

the kit was designed to run on a stock MAP sensor; however, my tuner highly suggested switching to a greddy map sensor as it is more accurate

Can you advise as to who you bought this Greddy map sensor from? I would be interested in getting one. My kit is getting installed early next week and I would like to have everything in place by then.

Thanks!

I called Greddy and they were 0 help. All they told me was to call my local retailer.

What I am trying to figure out is how to hook up and modify the Emanage to use it. Can the Emanage be programmed to ready positive pressure and respond accordingly. If this requires complete reprogramming I will use the Honda, I believe it is capable of reading 10 psi which is where I will want to run.

As far as the Emanage is concerned I am planning on mounting behind the driver

Scott at Ballistic Motorsports; they are the shop who installed my turbo as well

IMHO, any aftermarket map sensor is a waste of time and money, if you're going with the Greddy kit.

Just bolt on the kit and call it a day. I'm running the max boost this turbo will efficiently allow all day long.

it's not that you need a higher capacity map sensor, just something that is more accurate and calibrated to read above atmospheric pressure by design!

it's not a definite NEED but i trust my tuner's recommendation
