Default Motor Oil recommendation

Im just about done with my turbo install and was wondering what motor oil you guys use...

I currently use Mobil 1 synthetic...is that good enough for the added stress and heat of adding a turbocharger?

Mobil 1 should do just fine.

I use Motul and/or Amsoil, and have been pretty happy.

DO NOT USE MOBIL 1!!!

I had it in my car for the last four years. I had a tensioner go bad a month ago and replaced it. Within one month the new tensioner was making noise and my car has always had a lot of valve train noise. I emptied the 1500 mile old Mobile 1 out of it and put in Redline and the tensioner noise along with 99% of the valve train noise in now gone and the car is dead silent.

Also be sure to use the OEM filter. I have had problems with aftermarket filters making my car run like crap also.. (Not sure why but it does something probably with oil pressure)

Use Redline or Amsoil. With Gas 5 bucks a gallon, why not spend 7-10 bucks a quart to protect your investment with the best you can buy??
