Default My car isn't boosting?

So, I decided to take my car to work yesterday. Everything was fine until I was at a stop light. I was next to an SUV and wanted to pass it up when the light turned green because the lane merges. Well, my car didn't pull the way it normally does. I downshifted to 4th and brought down the RPM to 3500, (normally the range where it starts to spool) started to accelerate and no pull again. I also don't hear the "whooshing" sound and my BOV didn't go off.

I don't take it past 6K because my car still isn't tuned. Ironically, my car still runs fine with no CEL. It honestly feels like I'm NA! I checked the couplers and they are all intact. Nothing looks out of the norm under the hood.

I was thinking about doing the "map whack" but not sure how hard to "whack" the sensor.

Thanks for your time,
Jet

Is it possible to remove a coupler and see if you can feel the boost? It could be something simple like tune, plugs or some sort of disconnect. Make sure none of the mani or turbo bolts have not backed off.

what turbo setup are you running?

pull the intake pipe from the intake side of the turbo and check the shaft for play or any movement. a blown turbo will not boost so well.

I hope you get it figured out man. I'm hoping its just something that needs to be reconnected. Hopefully it's not a bad turbo like my situation.

check the turbo wastegate/ turbo arm clip, i can tell you i'm 99.99 % sure it fell off, or during your installation you touched it by accident so it's lose, basically what it is doing is u have ur wastegate wide open , aka open WAY too early.

remove the down pipe, upgrade your clip. or clip it real tight.

Did you check to see if you have a simple boost leak.

Most likely a boost leak. Don't play with turbos if you don't have gauges.
