My dyno results. Dyno graph posted.
Well I had my S dynoed tonight with my current mods listed below (test pipe not on). I am not very happy. I got 281.9whp and 173.5 torque on 91 pump gas
. It was cool out and we ran it with intake off and a bag of ice on after cooler and manifold
. My motor has around 40k miles and runs perfect. My car feels great and holds boost to redline. My motor dynoed at 182.2whp and 126.6 torque with header and exhaust a few months ago. Those numbers seem kind of low to. What do you think? I was guessing I would see higher numbers with my list of mods, like 330whp. Just wondering how other members are seeing 300whp+ with less boost ans mods? There is either somrthing wrong or I need to go turbo. Spent about $12,000 and feel I should have more power. Please help!!!!!

with the SC and Aftercooler you got 100 whp. it does not sounds bad.
I am guessing but could be that the DC cant flowmore , in a NA they do not have prove any gains but a SC could be to much for it. Skychiken got 20WHP extra just swaping the header

I've been told that DC headers are garbage....but I don't have experience with them.
I would look at the possibilities of some of the mods you've made outside of the Comptech kit.
1. DC headers
2. Front mount
3. BOV
4. Test pipe
5. Kakimoto exhaust...

If you baselined on the same dyno you're still about 25HP shy of the average bolt on S2000. I think your dyno is more realistic than most other dynojets. If you're just looking for a number then go to another dyno. At any rate with $12K spent I think you should be pushing 500+WHP. You know where I'm going with this...

The A/F looks good but I've seen dynos with them a little leaner... Let me try to find them..
Did you get a baseline dyno of when you were running stock SC pulley and stock injectors without EMS? Without that....it's hard to tell.
I would look at some of the stock SC dyno plots and compare yours to that...

Different dynos run different but a stock supercharged S should put down 300rwhp and a stock S at about 200rwhp. You gained 100rwhp which sounds normal with the stock pulley. From your sig I assumed you tuned with the bigger injectors, smaller pulley, and AEM EMS.
1) You might be losing boost. Ask your tuner how much boost you are making. Your belt could be slipping and need to be retighten.
2) Your clutch might be slipping, but you have a ACT though.
3) Check your spark plugs? Which ones are you running?
4) I heard you lose HP with DC header.
Maybe your tuner doesn't know what he's doing. Thats all I can think of right now.
