Default my first build/ turbo options update

So I posted a thread somedays back wanting to turbo for 2500 lol. Well I accepted the fact of that and moved on. So now my setup goes like this. Used greddy kit with bottom mount turbo and p fab log manifold. Hondata ecm. Act pressure plate stock disc combo. Hopefully ill be pushing 9 psi and in return get 300 ish whp. Is this reseaonable? Will this setup be fairly easy on the engine? Wanna hear your input. Thanks

Why do you say that? For reliability? Or just my hp range?

I used SC will be cost about the same as a used greddy kit, make the same power or more if you desire. Superchargers are very reliable, easy to daily and offer greater updrade potential; the greddy kit is a dead end.

I totally agree. I started off with a used Stage 1 Comptech kit for fairly cheap. No aftermarket ECU and little to no tuning required kept the price down. They're really bolt-on and go performance. Made 300 HP at the wheels.

Since then I've been able to upgrade bits a pieces here and there as I freed up more cash. Better heat exchanger, better water pump for the aftercooler, different intake. Then I decided I wanted to up the boost so I slowly acquired the parts for that... upgraded the radiator, ID injectors, standalone ECU... The beauty of it is that my initial investment was low for a huge boost in power over stock, and I was able to upgrade at my own pace as my desire for more boost came on. Now I'm at 400 WHP with basically the same kit that I started with, only with a few more pieces and tuning involved.

You can't really upgrade a Greddy kit like that.

FYI - I was right at $3,200 fully invested for my Stage 1 kit (~6-7 PSI).

I agree with coolguy. I too bought a ct sc kit for 3000$ used. And the main reason i like the sc on the S is that it keeps the same feeling as when it was NA. Just crazier !!!

But if you want low torque then turbo is the way to go. But as I have read the greddy kit doesn't give enjoyable power all the way to the redline.
