you measure each piece of each runner (elbows and straight sections), add up those #'s and you get the overall length of the runner. if all 4 runners are the same length, then they are "equal length".

imo, "equal length" is a catch phrase for people who want to put a turbo setup on their car. to me "equal length" does not mean "equal flow", but everyone gets a hardon when they hear "equal length"... all these runners are extremely close in length, but they are not all going to flow the same due to the variation of the bends in them.
Your right. I am one of those people who associate equal length with equal flow.

Thanks for elaborating.

How awesome would it be if there was actually a reason to have equal length runners that are that short?

Manifold looks incredible. Are you planning on putting a brace somewhere to help support the weight of the turbo?

Just curious as to why you didn't route the dump tube into the downpipe.

All of it looks great though! Nicely Done!

I've heard that if you run too long of a dumptube to atmosphere with the tube staying the same size all the way through without gradually getting larger as it gets longer, you can run into boost creep problems. Keep us posted, I'd like to know if I'm wrong or not.

Looks good though.

I'd presume that would also be affected by the size of the turbo/downpipe/wastegate and the efficiency of the motor involved.

I don't think it can be said in a blanket statement that is the case. However it does make for an interesting discussion.

results are in... quoted from the owner:

I pieced most of my kit together some local parts others from the states... ems' are going for a good price these days. My manifold was custom but Aaron @ Weirtech he is a local member he kept the jig of the manifold to build others. No oil relocation kit needed. Then i had all my install done at Advance Power House and couldn't be happier.

Brian is very knowledgeable with S2000's he has his own turboed one also. He has also has an in house dyno. One thing i really recommend you get, are the Injector Dynamics Injectors my car idles like stock runs like stock absolutely amazing.

I'm currently putting down 422 at 12 Psi on a stock block never touched, with my exhaust restricting a bit. Over the winter I'm going to pick up the Inline Pro 3 Inch and retune should net my hopefully 440-450 at the same psi. We reached 487 at 14 psi but because of the exhaust felt it was safer to run at 12 for now.
Brian is an amazing tuner/installer he owns the shop but does almost all the work himself and is extremely patient.

Heres a pic of my engine bay

wow awesome numbers for sure!! I make 431whp @ 12psi on a 3076R PFAB ELT manifold. So close to the same numbers. I have a 3" exhaust though, bet his car will see +20whp from just the exhaust!

sorry to see your manifold wrapped like that haha...

... you mean like having all the exhaust pulses reach the turbo equally spaced? The equal flow is irrelevant obviously ideally they would be equal but the pulses move with the speed of sound which has nothing to do with how well each pipe flows.
