Default My old S/C plugs

This is the first time I changed plugs since the s/c and its been about 1 year and a half. Not sure how they're supposed to look, but here they are. I replaced them with Denso Iridium IK24's. Feels a little better.

That plug looks not too bad. Might be a tad on the rich side but not bad at all. What's the gap you've been using? That gap looks a bit wide but hard to tell for sure in the picture.

I agree, the gap does look wide. In fact, it looks like a stock, non-supercharged plug gap. Otherwise, the color looks great.

Those are my stock plugs, never changed the gap for the s/c. The new gap Im using is .034, or as close to that as I could get.

This may explain the slight carbon (black) appearance around the ring. At high boosted rpm, the spark was being blown out and you weren't getting the best combustion.

Should be no different than in a S/Cd application. You want to choose a plug that is 1, maybe 2 steps colder heat range than stock. Copper plugs will be the best in energy conductance but short lived. Platinum will be better for life span but a bit less in conductance and Iridium will have the benefits of both.
