Default My Turbo project

I have been building the car for some months now and it's not finished yet but here are some pictures of the fuel system I built.

I use an Aeromotive A1000 pump
10An feed line to the pump
8An line from the pump to the rail and 8An as a return.

This is the fuel tank cap I built in order to accommodate the new fuel lins, fuel gauge sender unit and OE gasket.

These are the fuel lines I made under the car

As you can see the cover fits back on
More to come

it looks great, The only problem is its better to have something feeding the pump as it has to fight gravity with the pickup in the stock location opposed to having a sump. Also the A1000 can not support much power at all eventhough it is so large. Aeromotive makes an eliminator pump that supports more power. How come you didnt go with the bosch 044 pump? They are cheap and work great. I really like that idea you had to run custom hard lines opposed to the super expensive AN steel braided lines and fittings.

As much as I know the A 1000 will support more than the 044
Also if you look inside the tank there is a built in sump by honda about 25cm long 10 cm high and 13 cm wide.
The two tubes I made sit inside that sump. It is being filled by the return tube and the fuel in the tank while the feed line sits at 1 cm from the bottom of the sump

The pump sits lower than the fuel tank so once the tubes are filled with fuel, gravity will do the rest

You need to star making the those and selling them. That is very nice.

NICE WORK!!! But like Rob! said I would definitely use a Bosch 044 pump. I don't trust does Aeromotive for the street!

I have 2 Bosch 004 pumps & a surge tank in my car & I love them. 0 problems.

Good Luck on your project & keep it coming!
