Default My UR Boosted S2k

So last fall I got my MY00 S2000 finally boosted after a long headache. I learnt my lesson the hard way and long story short, money spent now on a turbo kit will pay off down the road...The vacuum line running to my wastegate melted (shitty silicon tubing) and so my turbo spooled to its full potential and as a result of running emanage blue with no safety for this my ap1 engine was no less than ruined. I've since then upgraded

SO enough of my sob story on to the good stuff

Here are the specs:

Drive train
- 04 AP2 Engine (completely stock with stock headgasket)
- AP1 Tranny
- Fidanza 8.5lbs aluminum flywheel
- ACT HD Pressure Plate
- ACT 6 puck clutch disc

Suspension
- Koni Yellows
- Tein springs
- Aftermarket front sway bar (purchased with car not sure on brand)

Mods
- Ultimate Racing turbo kit
- Walbro 255 fuel pump
- UR 650cc injectors
- AEM EMS 1052
- AEM Boost control solenoid
- AEM wideband O2
- AEM serial data gauge
- Modifry coolant temp fix
- Invidia 70mm test pipe with O2 sensor fix
- Stock honda exhaust

The kit was installed by myself and was tuned by Ultimate Racing themselves because I am lucky enough to live close by! Needless to say the car runs perfect and is as smooth as stock! No hickups or stalling or anything of the sort im completely impressed with their work!

We were also able to make 370whp on 94 sunoco pump fuel at 9psi

Here is a crappy vid of the last run on the dyno as well as some pics of the car! I have a thicker headgasket in the plans for the future but this is plenty fun for me for now!

Dyno Run

I will try to get a new in car vid as well

Enjoy!

Do you have any more pictures of where the oil relocation area? On the UR website they show the engine bay shot with the factory heatshield in place. So it's possible to leave it on there with the kit? How come you are not running it?

I dont have any other pictures but I can take some if you like would like...? I tried using the oem heat shield but it didnt fit with this version I guess? I havnt had any problems with stuff getting too hot in that area and I just moved the heater core hose out of the way to be safe cause it was the only thing close to the manifold/wastegate. I've been running this for awhile and no signs of anything getting too hot in that are either.

I'd like to see more up close shots of the manifold/turbo area and the oil relocation pieces if you dont mind =]. Oh and did you have to remove/move/modify anything else for the installation of the kit? Thanks

Your fuse box will start to melt, Trust me.
Put some heat tape on it or something.
