I found a Vortech V3 (self Lube) kit for $2k shipped. The seller did say he noticed a noise from the S/C before it was uninstalled so I'm assuming it needs a rebuild.

Is it a good deal? It is aftercooled all parts included, and 650cc injectors

ALSO: this kit is for a 2006+, i have an AP1 with the vortech supplied EMS work? Will everything else work ok?

Add $500 min for rebuild. But then your still stuck with a self lube blower that has a trend of premature failure. Self lube is a great idea, but they cant seem to hold up like the old school engine fed ones.

 

ya i'm somewhat worried about the self-lube too. this is my aftermarket FI kit, and I'm very nervous. But 2k for a full V3 kit with injectors (only 10k on the kit) sounds great.
