Thumbs down Need help! Ems connection to laptop

I need help!
I've been using my laptop to monitor ALL of my engine parameters, but when I was getting pulled over by the cops I yanked the plug out and closed the laptop and now I can't reconnect.

I've tried everything from reloading the ems software etc but no luck.

Help please!!!!!

I did already, that was the first thing I tried over an hour ago... It was loose but I tightened it and it still doesn't connect.

Ive had some problems getting my laptop to connect to the AEM EMS at times, just keep trying. Also, make sure the com port youre connected to is on and working properly on the laptop. I'm sure its just something simple. You can also switch between USB ports to see which one is on and working, same as checking the com port connection, just manually.

when you say you yanked the plug out, do you mean from the ecu or from the computer?
