Default Need Help!! Oil Relocation on Speedcraft

I'm almost finished with the install of my speedcraft kit but I'm having problems with fitting the oil relocation to the stock location. We removed the factory oil cooler fitting and took the center screw out. I attempted to thread this into the oil relocation on the speedcraft kit and put it in the block, but there is about a 2 inch gap where the factory oil cooler used to go. What gives? Is there supposed to be a shorter screw that comes with the speedcraft kit? Thanks for any and all help, these little problems are starting to get frustrating.

Thanks!!!

I'm missing the short adapter. That's why I'm having a hard time. Trying to source one now.

I was also wondering if anyone knew which direction the oil flows? I figure the oil comes from the engine to the sides of the oil filter through the little holes, and goes back into the engine through the big hole in the middle (via the big hollow screw). Is this correct? I just want to set up the lines correctly for my relocation kit.

I am also missing that bolt between the block and adaptor. Anyone know how long exactly to cut or shorten it to 1.5" will be fine?

Do yourself a favor and throw away the oil relocation setup from speedcraft. It was junk 5 years ago.

Buy a Canton Oil filter relocator and be done with it.

Yeah, I tossed my old Speedcraft oil filter relocation kit as soon as I saw it.

I got the canton remote adaptor 20mm, but would I just reuse my stock jet bolt?
